Scott Wearne is Keilor’s resident AAA All Abilities PGA-qualified golf professional. Scott offers the following services:
Winner of the 1998 Calgary Open in Canada, with a record 22 under par, Scott started his successful golf career far closer to home.
Playing as an amateur at Royal Park and Medway Golf Clubs, Scott turned professional in 1992, and rose through the ranks, on his way winning 36 pro-am events and the Calgary Open in 1998.
As a pupil at the Victorian Institute of Sport, Scott learned from Steven Bann and Dale Lynch, which set him on a path to coach and develop the next generations of Australian golfers.
As an Australian All Abilities accredited professional, Scott has a passion for teaching and enjoys passing on his knowledge to clients of any age or ability using the latest coaching equipment and video analysis to find and rectify swing faults. He has developed many great young golfers from around Western Melbourne, with his pupils having secured scholarships in America for golf, as well as representing some of the top golf clubs in the State at Pennant level.
Scott believes that on-course lessons are the quickest way to lower scores, learning how to manage your way around the course and the many shots required in a round of golf.
Lesson gift vouchers can be purchased for great gifts for golf lovers.
